IT IS TIME FOR THE CHOWDOWN!

Every year the Tacoma Propeller Club hosts an annual membership
drive, better known as Chowdown. Approximately 1000 members of the
maritime community come together and feast on barbequed salmon and
halibut, shrimp salad, deep fried cod and oysters, steamed prawns, spicy
potatoes, cracked crab, clam chowder, and world-famous Croatian octopus
salad and steamed clams. All proceeds go towards our Memorial Scholarship

Program, Sea Scouts, and Tacoma Seafarers’ Center.


WHEN:                  Friday, May 17th at 5 PM

WHERE:               1451 Thorne Road, Tacoma

HOW MUCH:     Tickets are $90 per person

                                  Tickets will be sold on a first paid basis

SCHEDULE:        6:00 Dinner (be on time for best seats)

                                  7:30 Announcements and Awards

                                  8:00 Entertainment begins

  • This event is for Tacoma Propeller Club Members, their guests, and prospective members.
  • Must be 21, valid ID required, and absolutely no children please!
  • NO ADMITTANCE until doors open at 5pm.



OH, What a Night!


The sold-out crowd DID have a blast at the Tacoma Propeller Club Annual Crab Feed, held last Saturday night at Holy Cross Parish Hall. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets, devoured delicious Dungeness Crab, bid on amazing raffle prizes, tossed rings to win bottles of wine and dashed to get some delectable desserts! It was truly a successful and rewarding event, with proceeds going to our scholarship program and local Sea Scout group. And hats off AGAIN to Nick Nickolas, the committee and crew, for organizing and creating a super FUN social activity for the club!
